Hear Me Grow support
When your little one starts talking, let Hear Me Grow listen too. Some of the stories you most want to remember happen after the lights go out. Video would only capture a dark room, and writing would lose the sound of their voice. Hear Me Grow lets a parent tap once and keep the moment as audio.
Hear Me Grow is in beta and coming soon to iPhone and iPad.

What Hear Me Grow does
One gentle tap
Start recording without setting up a camera, account, feed, or complicated form.
A Memory Book
Recordings are timestamped and organized by date, with optional titles, notes, profiles, and photos.
Yours to keep
Play, search, share, or export a complete backup whenever you choose.
Start recording faster
You can start recording from the Lock Screen, the Home Screen, the Action button, or by asking Siri. One tap opens Hear Me Grow and starts listening. Apple doesn't let apps add Lock Screen buttons or widgets by themselves, so these steps are done once by you. In the app, Parents' Corner (the gear button) has a Quick Start card with the same steps and a Try Quick Start button.
- Lock Screen button (iOS 18 or later): touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then Lock Screen. Tap the minus on the flashlight or camera button at the bottom, search for Hear Me Grow, and choose Record a Memory.
- Lock Screen widget (iOS 16 or later): touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then Lock Screen. Tap the row under the clock, find Hear Me Grow, and add Record a Memory.
- Home Screen widget: touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen, tap Edit or the plus, search for Hear Me Grow, and add the widget.
- Action button (iPhone 15 Pro or later): open Settings, tap Action Button, choose Controls, and pick Hear Me Grow Record a Memory.
- Siri: nothing to set up. Say "Hey Siri, record with Hear Me Grow."
In Parents' Corner
- Children: add a profile for each child. If you remove a profile, that child's memories stay in the Memory Book but are no longer assigned to them.
- Lock Hear Me Grow: turn on the lock to use Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
- Backup: tap Export Everything to save one package with every recording, photo, note, timestamp, and child profile. Choose On My iPhone, iCloud Drive, or Google Drive when it is available in Files.
Hear Me Grow has no account and your memories never reach us, so an exported backup is the way to keep a copy outside the app.
Private by design
No account. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. No AI service. Your family's memories stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
